Dancing is good exercise

Hubby used to learn ballroom dancing and Latin dances when he was single. He was trying to get to know some Asian women at the dance studio. Nope, I didn't get to know him through the dance floor.:-)

I learnt to dance many years ago at my first job, from a colleague who is also a professional dance instructor. But I stepped on my dance partner’s feet so much I was too embarrassed to continue. I would love to learn dancing again and hubby is keen to be my dance partner. My only concern is: can a person with two left feet learn to dance?

What do you think of Salsa dancing? Is Salsa a good choice for a beginner? Do you think I should get a Salsa Video or DVD to get familiar with the steps first before we go for lessons? Yes, I'm really serious about this. I think dancing can be an incredible form of exercise and a great way to maintain curve. Besides, it's fun, as you won't feel like you are exercising. Well, as my New Year resolution is to lose some weight, and since two third of 2007 has gone by without much success, I better get serious of getting some form of exercise going.
