Sample house

My friend J recently did some major home improvements to her single family home. Her house may not be the biggest house I have visited, but it's very cozy and tastefully decorated. As J is well traveled and has good taste, the whole house was done up like one of those sample houses! Of course, it does help that she has a rich doctor husband. However, some of the inexpensive furniture that she found at the recycled furniture store is also very unique and exquisite

It was not a new house, they have lived there for several years. The improvement was a major one, as they even tear down some walls to make the master bedroom and living area larger and extended the kitchen. During the building process, they had to move out and rented a house nearby for six months. They had also replaced all the old windows, installed nice casement windows with double glazing. Besides, the windows really brings in more natural sunlight.
